Sharing dinner

I cooked up some japanese-style curry thinking that i can hv a quiet solo dinner. I made sure Cassie had her dinner first and then i took out my dinner. Came along Cassie and she insisted to share my dinner. She just dip the curry like nobody business and eat away.

I wonder if you might share some insight with me on what young children typically eat living in Penang? We plan to visit in December and I wonder if I should pack much food for Bennie since will be only 17 months old, I don't think she could handle eating curry. I would not want to travel so far packing food if there are plenty of similar foods easily available there (mac and cheese, ravioli, green beans, fresh apples, peaches, etc. are some of Bennie's favorites).

Cassie is so brave with her foods, how great!

Most of the food you described should be available to be purchase in Penang. So you can travel light :) One thing is that our staple food is rice. I remembered Cassie usually have rice or porridge or soup when she was Bennie's age :) Let me know what's your schedule like ? Hope to be able to meet up :)
