One of the recommended things to do in KL is the Balloon Fiesta. This is the first time we join in the fun with
the rest of Putrajaya in the Balloon Fiesta. We drove from PJ area at 7.30 am for about 50 minutes and we can already see the balloons filled up the skyline of Putrajaya. Cassie of course is the most excited one.
She asked grandma to purchase the "bubble-gun' for her and as every grandma in the world would do, my mom no just bought her the gun and extra bubbles to play with later.
She then start all her pretend play
and pose like a 'super-spy' :) She caught so much attention to herself that some photographers lined up to take her photos.
It was a fun way to enjoy weekend and one good way to end her short school term break. Just like how Cassie put it : " It's so much fun ! "

Trip To the Penang Hill
I then realised that sometimes (well maybe a lot of time, *sheepish*), we took things for granted. My in-law's house is located at the foot of the Penang Hill and it's 10 mins away from the cable car station ! And determine to change the taking for granted attitude, we went up the hill last weekend.

It's definitely worth it to visit again, but wait till Feb 09 :)
New Bike
She usually bike for about 10-15 mins at a time only and she will be quite exhausted. ar ... then the good part for me, she will nap for 3 hrs in the afternoon :)
Aquaria KLCC vs Paragon Bangkok
This is the 2nd trip to the aquarium for Cass. She has been to the Paragon's Siam Ocean World in yr 2006 and the KLCC Aquaria is her 2nd underwater encountered.
Overall i think the Aquaria is too small and not a lot of display. The main attraction in June is the 'piranha'. hmpt.
Comparing to the Paragon' siam ocean world, where besides the tunnel, they have the 'artic' encountered, a lot of different deep ocean creatures like the neon lights jelly fishes. In addition, the paragon's ocean center has a few aquarium tank that are 2 storeys high, well kept surroundings and good ambiance.
With 30,000+ marine animals (Seals, Blue Ringed Octopus, Ragged-tooth sharks, Stingrays, Leafly Sea Dragons, Giant Spider Crabs, and Sharks of various types including Ragged-tooth, Black tipped, and Leopard). No wonder it is the largest aquarium in Southeast Asia.
But then again, with 1/3 the price we paid for Siam Paragon, it's fair we expect 1/3 of the experience in Aquaria KLCC. fair ? This is free market at work here.

Afternoon Swim
The weather has been quite hot and dry around here. Cass has been asking if she can go for a swim. Well, there we go again, bringing out the 'pool', pumping the air, filling in water and making snacks. (mini pizzas) Check out chicky Cass at play.
Ice cream at the zoo
Cass tripped and had a slight bruise on her knee when we were in the zoo last weekend. She cried so loud and her dad promised her ice-cream when we reached the zoo central (resting area). Unfortunately the store only have the big cone type ice cream and fortunately for Cass, she get the whole ice-cream cone for herself.
She was so surprise and happy about it. When i saw the ice-cream started to melt, i asked Cass to have a bite. She gave me her ice-cream and i deliberately took a big bite. Cass watched it in disbelief and said : "那个是一口吗 ?"(is that really just one bite ?).
She was eating the ice-cream so slow and i can see the sides are melting. again i ask for another bite, she gave it to me again but in hesitation this time. After i took another big bite, Cass protested with a sad voice and said : "ice-cream 变小小了"(the ice-cream became so small now)
i try my luck again about 5 minutes later and ask for another bite, she doesn't want to give me anymore ! hahaha
Getting more n more active
Turning Pro ... or NOT ..
Next best thing for Cass
Riding with neighbors

It's school holiday over here in Malaysia till Jan 2nd 2008. Our neighbor's kids came knocking on our door 2 weeks ago and ask Cass to come out and play.
There was some running, see-saw, slide and lots of swinging in the park opposite our house. And then everyone started to bring their bikes out. Cass was curious and happy to be able to ride on the "sport-truck" with the rest. It was fun and lots of laughters.
The kids played like they own the road and we parents basically is the traffic police directly the traffic flow of the whole road. Luckily there wasn't a lot of cars that day and they had a wonderful time.
After 2 hours of sweating, the kids finally settle down and cooling down in the swimming area. Now that's a grand finale ! Cass has a very good sleep that nite !
